Day 8
Hi guys,
Sorry for the late post.
So yesterday was weigh in day.
76.7KG, so that's a 2.1KG loss.. not bad. not bad.
Breakfast was a vanilla shake which I didn't mind this time.
No mid morning snack, as I was busy painting one of the rooms in my house.
Lunch - Café Latte Shake
Snack, I had this quite late on and then struggled eating my dinner, also I suppose my snack was too big but at the time I was very hungry. - x2 scrambled egg and x1 frankfurter
Dinner - Mousakka
Snack - rocky road bar

Day 7
I can't believe that's it, a whole week has gone by and I have been mostly good, yes I've had some little slip ups however I would say on average I have been consuming less than 1500 calories per day therefore I feel I should have lost something. We'll find out tomorrow at the weigh in. I am thinking my scales are slightly dodgy and regretting not weighing myself at boots or somewhere that I feel may be somewhat more reliable.
Breakfast - Forest fruits shake, and as I suspected this was absolutely rotten!
Mid snack - small tub of hummus with some cucumber and a 30g piece of cheese
Lunch - Roasted pepper and tomato soup, and again this was rotten!!
Afternoon snack - x 1 scrambled egg, it was a large egg and was a double yolker.
Dinner - x 1 Duck leg with a small amount of parsnip mash (I know on the avoid list), carrots, roasted pepper, onion and courgette.
Supper snack - 30g soft cheese and some strawberries
Not much to update on today. I am thinking of getting some exercise in next week as my do in on Saturday and I am hoping to have lost a few pounds for then and just generally feel a little slimmer/more comfortable in my dress.
I have been painting, hoovering and cleaning for most of the day so I'm sure that has burnt a few calories, well I hope so!

Day 6
So as expected because of the weekend and inevitable lye ins the diet has gone to pit slightly.
I weighed myself when I woke up before it all went wrong. 76.8, so a 1.8 kilo loss over 5 days, not amazing but i'll take it.
Breakfast - I slept in so I missed this
Mid snack - blueberries and x 6 small salmon and cream cheese appetisers
Lunch - we went to subway and the other half had a foot long chicken temptation with sweet onion sauce, of which I had a bite.
I asked for a tuna salad box and was hoping for cheese and lots of southwest sauce, didn't get any cheese and they were being very stingy with the sauce so I think diet wise this was a good choice, it included to tablespoons of tuna mayo, lettuce, green peppers, some chopped olives, pickles, jalapeños, onion and cucumber.
Snack - x2 celery sticks with 30g soft cheese and wrapped with x3 slices ham
Dinner - Chocolate shake
So the other half ordered dominoes to eat whilst I enjoyed my shake although I did offer to cook him some dinner.
It arrived and I am not keen on the pizza but I love the garlic bread, of which he saved me 2 pieces which I accepted.. Doh! They were so good.
Now I'm eating strawberries..
Hopefully tomorrow will be better

Day 5
Day 5
So today has been a little different because I am off work, meaning lack of structure in my day.
I like a lie in, and I'm sure this will be a reoccurring feature over the weekend and next week when I am also off.
Because I woke up later I didn't feel hungry until later on which was a blessing in disguise as the other half was very late from work and we didn't get to eat until after 8 o clock.
Breakfast was a caramel shake, I figured as this sounded like it would be my least favourite I would try it in the privacy of my own home where no one needs to see the faces of disgust that I am pulling.
I wasn't wrong, it was not to my taste at all... VILE!
So my snack was at about 1.30, I had a stick of celery and a 17g package of soft extra strong cheddar.. Mmm, the cats enjoyed a smidge of the cheese too.
Lunch was at half 2, and was a roast chicken soup, I am getting used to the soup and it makes a nice change to have something savoury and warm as a meal replacement rather than just living of sweet shakes.
I went into town and did some shopping, I did not have a snack and did not intend on having one in the afternoon. I got some strawberries in town thinking they would be a nice after dinner snack,
Went home feeling really hungry and looking forward to my steak dinner, so as you can imagine I was gutted to hear the other half would be home very late from work. I don't like to eat separately, so I waited. If our dinner had of been something that takes a long time and a lot of effort to cook then that would have kept me occupied, however I like my steak quire rare so I wanted to leave most of the dinner preparation until late on.
I gave in and had my afternoon snack which was some smoked salmon creamy cheese appetisers. I didn't mean to eat all 12, I was only going to have 6 but the cats were circling me like little sharks and I was being to lazy to make the trip to the fridge, oh and they tasted soo good!!
Dinner was a steak with asparagus, mushrooms with a little cream cheese sauce, Onions, and Aubergines. I made steak chips for the other half and was feeling a bit jealous as they looked so good so I made something similar for myself by peeling an aubergine, slicing into circles, frying in a little oil along with the potatoes and seasoning. I let them cook a little and them put them on a baking tray to go into the oven closer to the time that my mr due was home. They were delicious.
I am feeling very satisfied after dinner and really hoping for some sort of weight loss over the course of this week.
Everything crossed for Mondays weigh in!

Day 4
I've been very hungry most of the day and its been a struggle to not eat everything in sight (temptation at work).
Brekkie consisted of a chocolate shake which I did enjoy
Mid morning snack - blueberries and a small piece of cheese. It was one of those extra strong mature cheddar soft cheese circles thing. Interesting and loved it! I expect it to be solid but it was soft cheese tasting of sharp cheddar.. win!
Lunch - Vegetable soup, similar consistency to the shakes and it does taste quite sweet but that's a small price to pay for some weight loss hopefully.
I feel that if I haven't lost any weight by Monday I am going to sack this diet off! and If I lose anything then I may continue.
Mid day snack - Crudites of cucumber and yellow pepper with a small tub of hummus.
Dinner - I made fajitas, the other half has tortilla wraps with his. Mine was the chicken with peppers and onions on a bed of lettuce with some cucumber, tomatoes, tzatziki and onion and garlic dip. Very mush enjoyed!
I have been finding that I've been feeling a bit nauseous after dinner each night, not sure if its because I am eating to much. I know with it being my only real meal I want to make the most of it but I feel that I really must make an effort to reduce my portion size.
Not sure if I will have my 3rd snack, then again we'll see!

Day 3
Hi guys.
This morning I tried the Caffe Latte Celebrity slim shake. I was dubious about this one, I read a review about someone heaving due to this particular shake. Well I have to say it is to my taste. It reminded me of one of the bottled Starbucks frappe thingies that I have bought in the supermarkets before.
Mid morning snack - blueberries with 2 slices of chicken.
Lunch - Strawberry shake, was actually surprisingly good.
Afternoon snack - mini tub of hummus and cucumber and celery sticks (it says to avoid chickpeas, but one of their snack suggestions is a small tub of hummus so why not I say!).
Dinner - the rest of the Moussaka, very nice the second day. I had this with some asparagus and some salad.
After dinner snack - celery with 15g of garlic and herb boursin wrapped in 2 slices of ham - delicious!!
So I have been looking in our town for the CS products and haven't had much luck when it comes to variety. I called in to Lloyds pharmacy and they had a much wider selection, even soup! Yes, win! So it was 7 sachets for £12.00. It was great to be able to mix and match and I have got a few things to try such as the berry shake and some different soup!
All I have left to try of the original shakes is the caramel flavour which doesn't really appeal to me but who knows, it could be good. So up to now I have liked all of the shakes with the exception of Vanilla.. see I'm not fussy!
Ooh, just had a thought, I have done a few naughty things today so I am going to fess.
#1 I weighed myself this morning and I have lost zilch.. I know miracles.
#2 I baked bourbon biscuits for work tomorrow and the smell, the smell! It was tricky not to have one, well I didn't but I did have a little lick of the filling, like a quarter of a tsp.
#3 I poured a bit (probs like 2/3 tbsps.) of 30% less fat salad cream onto my salad and then saw on the bottle its 14G of carb per 100g..Oops!
Tomorrow I will be a good girl, maybe.

Day 2
So to finish of last nights shake - snack - shake.soup - snack - meal - snack I decided to try one of their rocky road bars.
They're not bad but do have a very slight chalkiness and are that little to sweet for my taste. In addition to this it is £4.99 for 5 small snack bars, I think this is a little much considering they are not even a full sized bar.
This morning I had a Vanilla shake to start with, this also was not to my taste, it is quite synthetic and reminded me of popcorn flavoured jelly beans that I tried once.
It wasn't awful to the point that I would leave it, chocolates still the favourite!
Morning snack - 25 Blueberries, they are only small so any less than that and i'd feel cheated.
Lunch was a roast chicken soup which surprisingly tasted okay, if I wasn't on a diet I wouldn't choose to eat it but its not too bad. The consistency however was quite similar to that of the shakes, so I did just feel like I was drinking a warm chicken shake.. which doesn't sound so nice.
My mid afternoon snack was a small amount of greek salad (basically what was left from last nights dinner) and 2 slices of chicken and 1 mini cheese.
I was very excited for dinner for most of the day because I decided I was going to have Aubergine Lasagne since I cant have the pasta in the Lasagne or the potato in a real Moussaka. I fried some onions and seasoned some less than 5% fat mince with mixed spice, dried parsley, dried oregano, and dried mint and added celery, one carrot, mushrooms, a jar of tomatoes and a jar of plain tomato pasta sauce.
I made my béchamel with a small amount of flour and skimmed milk. The Aubergine was oven baked before I layered this with the meat and white sauce. I then added some beef tomato to the top and grates some low fat cheese on top (I may have also added a little low fat cheese to the top).
So I had this with salad and loved it! My partner thought it was gorgeous too which is always good.
I am feeling bloated and windy but have been satisfied and not hungry.
Lets see what tomorrow brings.
If anyone's done something similar and has any advice or ideas to share I'd love to hear from you.

Day 1
Okay, so not a bad day.
Started off with my Banana CS shake, its alright, but so far I prefer the chocolate.
Morning snack consisted of 4 olives, would have liked a few more but I am feeling that I am fat enough and I'll be able to enjoy food again soon enough.
Lunch was a chocolate CS shake, afternoon snack was a 30g piece of Port Salut cheese and a few cucumber sticks. Carrot is listed as a Vegetable to be avoided, however there is a suggestion in the book of cut up veg sticks and carrots are mentioned first on the list.
For dinner I had some pan fried Seabass and some kiln roasted salmon along with a salad of tomato, cucumber, pepper, mint and lemon juice with a Tsp of low fat salad cream.
I felt a little hungry in the morning and I have made sure that I drank plenty of water. Since lunch time I have felt quite satisfied and am feeling positive about this for now.
Keep you posted.

Changing again
So, I have always been against replacing meals with powder but I have a short time frame and I have decided to give Celebrity Slim a try. With it being party season I would like to lose a few pounds to feel more comfortable in my dresses and lose weight prior to Christmas where I am likely to gain some.
I am currently 78.6KG so pretty heavy.
I am also currently hung-over, and as such, the diet is definitely starting tomorrow rather than now.
Okay, so I plan to start the day with a shake, I am then allowed a mid morning snack, Lunch which is also a shake and a mid afternoon snack. I can then have an evening meal providing that my carb intake is reduced and it should be relatively light. As with any diet I feel organisation will be the key to succeeding. I plan to have a think about my snacks and generally obsess about food and eating for the next fortnight or so.
Wish me luck, I would say my realistic goal is 3 kilos, and for my clothes to feel a little looser.
